I don't know why some people are having problems, this worked the first time I tried it out. Is the guide not clear enough or something?

Well the developer "out_37h_6" is a bit quiet I posted to him about a few bugs and he hasn't replied yet. Maybe he wants to keep the next release a secret?

soon as i Press "X" on "Select UMD/ISO File - it says file not found and reloads the umd game>

Before that I always got found new hardware when i pressed x on UMD via USB at Game Start - I installed the usb b driver, but it made no difference?

did you read the notes on the bottom of the page? sometimes your isos/ csos need to have an underline instead of a space in the name to be detected. Ex. Gangs of London -> Gangs_of_London

to junkdude
i am pretty sure that's all the steps because i used the app the first time it works. then i wrote the guide from memory than deleted the seplugins folder, reseted the configuration in recovery, deleted the umd boot (or something) in XMB. then followed the guide i made, and found out that it works and it's genuine than i posted it up.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I can probably get it to work if I could get rid of this damn windows pop up saying new hardware found everytime I press X on UMD via USB at Game Start?

It keeps asking for drivers and I already installed the usb bdriver - reboot and it still pops up with new hardware found!?

is it asking for psp type b? if it is plug your psp in then when new hardware comes up choose advance then browse to the psphost directory then into drivers and then search then it should install.

Right to everyone that can't get this working

Make sure the settings in "PSPHost" is correct:

Start "PSPHost" -> Right-Click it in the "Taskbar" -> Choose "Settings" -> Under the "Directory To Share Over USB" Sub-Heading make sure that you choose the folder that CONTAINS the ISO folder. DO NOT choose the ISO folder. Then check the box "Enable USB at Program Start".

What you name your ISOS/ CSOS:

Make sure that your ISO/ CSO files DOES NOT have a space in their name and in return replace it with an underline. Ex. Gangs of London change it to Gangs_of_London.

Make sure the settings on the PSP is correct:

Start your PSP into "Recovery Mode" (Hold R while PSP boots-up) -> Select "Configuration" -> Then Disable "Use NO-UMD" (Disable as in when it says (currently: Disabled) Select "Back" -> Then "Plugins" -> Then enable the plugins in the following order:
usbhostfs.prx [GAME]
usbmount_game.prx [GAME]
usbhostfs.prx [VSH]
usbmount_vsh.prx [VSH]
(Enable as in when it says "(Enabled)") Select "Back" and "Exit". Scroll left till you get to "Settings" in XMB -> Then Scroll down and Select "System Settings" -> Scroll down to "UMD Auto-Start" and choose "Off"

Settings in the plugin:

Start "PSPHost" -> Plug-in your USB Cable -> Put in a disc -> Press "Select" on the PSP -> navigate to "Connect to USB Host PC:" Select it and make sure "Connect (Manual)" Is highlighted in blue. Select it still even if it's already highlighted already. Then navigate to "UMD via USB at Game Start:" Select it and Make sure "Use" is highlighted in Blue. Select it even if it's already highlighted.

Sometimes when you rename the game that you last played the PSP will freeze up. If you have done that recently and it didn't work then do the following:

Disable the plugins first in "Recovery Mode".

Plug in your "PSP" to your PC as normal. Then go into your PSP's drive -> then "seplugins" -> then open up "USBMOUNT.inf".

On the first line that says "boot=......"

Delete everything behind the "(boot=)" so it looks like this:

BEFORE:
boot=Whatever.

AFTER:
boot=

Now restart the "PSP" and go to "Recovery Mode" to enable the plugins again.

Now try it out.

If you've done all that and it still doesn't work:

When you click on your game and it bounces back with an error then click on your game a second time and this time it should work.

This should help people who can't get this working.

Tried everything you wrote man, and windows still comes up with found new hardware :(

I go to psphosts directory then into drivers, but damn windows comes up with unable to install and then I get a yellow exclamation/question mark in device manager/other devices/usb device.

I can follow the guide easy enough, it's just this friggen windows - found new hardware that is doing my head in!

Hi,
great guide and I´ve managed to make most iso working. My only problem is monster hunter. Everytime I am starting the game I can hear windows connecting and disconnecting the usb device several times and then I got an error message. Anyone knows what to do???
