Sorry i mean the names of the channel are their but the screen is blank and it says data is being updated and nothing happens.

ok. ill send u the files and just follow what i did but i just want to point out it worked for me im not going to promise it will work for use so only atempt at own risk.

U need a R232 Cable. if u dont have 1 u can get them from the likes of ebay or maplin etc

hi, hope some one can help please. done all updates but tv is still scrambled, only stations we get are normal tv stations ie. 12345
all other channels say bad channel or scrambled channel, have updated before and never dhad any probs but this time we do, ARE ALL STARVIEWS THE SAME UPDATE CODE. please help sue

Could someone e-mail the software for the update and the original software as well. I have reset the box back to factory settings yet when I try to download using gt loader it keeps saying failed any ideas appreciated. Thanks

cojo it sounds like you have not changed your emu to the on position. try going into the menu while on bbc1 punch in on the remote 1570 scroll down and change the emu to on hope this works

It's ok I've fixed it. The problem was that the box needed to be in stanby for the download to work. Thanks

Looks like fimware needs to be updated to version 259 just updated my m8s from 257 fixed blank screen and looping problem.
