OK everyone stop downloading the 260 API. I will remove it but keep it there for those who especially ask. It's been said that the firmware has been killing both real and fake boxes. DO NOT FLASH YOUR BOX WITH IT. Stay on the 257 API untill it stops working.

It's the official Starview file released on the 26/04/2007 from satdownloads who are to do with Wizard satellite who are the UK Starview agents. I'm convinced but no-one has to believe me, it's my opinion that I am basing on the facts as I see them.

wizzard sat thats trying to sell 1000 new starview boxes and released the 260 file thats killing off all the old boxes..

your better off staying away from 260. theres not much difference in it anyway, epg is still the same, just a few changes to the menu structure - time daylight savings @ auto time update

I have a starview in Dublin with 2.58e on it and all the channel are "Scrambled or bad channel"
A friend has the same box with 2.57e on it. His works perfect.

I have downloaded the GTROM Loader and the 257 API.

What do I do now?

how will people know which to download? if this is true then they should have just released a new version and told everyone to stay away from 260
