Deal you seem sooo smart..and I need your help........how do youget rid of the remote procedure Call worm thingy when my computer is password protected? It says ym password is wrong but it is correct......I think the worm did soemthing, sohould I start in safe mode? How do I do that again.......PLEASE HELP I DEPERATLY NEED IT!!

Safe mode Seems the best bet atm u may need to b in normal safe mode without networking... also the worst thing u may have to do is delete ur current profile and create a new one. Also have u got AVG Antivirus download it from here it will help u out a lot

Um,ok, this is ooo messed up, how do I dlete a profile? Besides I don't think doing that will do any good. This is all messed up,idk what to do.

I dont know anything about this subject but i do know there is some kind of password reset jumper inside your pc.
check out your manual
I dont know if this would help you
use at your own risk

I heard it's more effective if you do a virus scan while you're in Safe Mode. Anyone know if this is correct?

The only reason this way would b safer is if u do it in safe mode without network support.
That way it can check ur system without having it open to any putsied attacks...

sorry to be asking such a newb question but how do i find out what internet explorer i have 5.5, 6... i tried right cliking the icon then checking properties, but i couldn't find it

Open up internet explorer. and then go to the help menu and clcick on that in that menu it has a otion called "About Internet Explorer"
When you clcik that it will bring up all the version info you want.
I hope that helps....
