v 4.5 is the latest for
ireland and v4.51 is for uk.
but if it is working on a lower firmware version then I would leave well enough alone.

can anybody help me, i have the RS232 Cable thats supposed to go from the eurovox box to my lap top but it hasn't got the right connection for my lap top, i have 2 new lap tops and neither has this connection can anyone help

 

You need to buy a usb to serial port adapter. Then you can plug in your rs323 cable and flash your eurovox.

 

Yes you need this program to send s/w to the eurovox.

 

my version says its july 07

thinking of getting new boxes had starview1 digivox but know nothing about eurovox,are they much better than digivox? will they work on chorus?

 

never had a digivox but I know they are better than starview.

Anybody know how to get my channels working, there all there on my channel manager but no picture just says no signal, ps cable is plugged in.

 

where do u have cable entering box [ on starviews and digivox = cable input ]

 

i Had it entered in the ant hole but now i put it in the rf in hole. is that the one its supposed to be in? it now says insert smart card.

yes the rf is the correct hole. tune to sly sports 1 and it will update.

 

the message please insert smart card just comes up on all the channels, still no picture.

 

plug it out for a minute or so then plug it in and tune to ss1 and leave it for a few mins. it should autoupdate.

 

i just tried that now, didn't work, it just says please insert smart card. should i reset it to factory settings

 

wait a minute we may have some action, i wnt to the language page and typed 1968 and beside emulation was diable so i put enable. i think its searching now for the channels it says its updating
