by the way i think that divindra is right. We should all use the thread called "Coolsats" (created by divindra) so all coolsat users can read all the posts and learn from the responses. The old thread may have been for coolsat 5000 but there were people asking questions about all coolsats and people posting answers for all coolsats and people posting links to ALL new coolsat bin files.

my hat is off to anyone who can tune a dish in by themselves. i tried for 2 hours and couldn't so my cousin came over and had it in under 90 seconds(almost kinda hate him for making me look that bad in front of the wife) in east tenn dish is 20 degrees west of canada and slightly higher but i think it depends on where you live and whether your pole is both plumb and level.

The reason i am trying to find out what this channel is, i am trying to get the EPG to read 7 days ahead instead of 1 hour ahead.

breck said that if you go into favorites and set up one of the tags such as movies or news and select all your favorite channels, exit and save, hit the sat button, and select whichever tag you set up instead of all sats or just 91, then it will read way far ahead9not sure about seven days, though.

do me a favor go back to the "Coolsats" thread. we want to get rid of all the different coolsat threads and have one thread for all coolsat users. it would be great if u could help with this. when they closed the old 5000 thread everybody just started creating new threads now we have too many.

breck, billo, blkstare, jerry456,lairot(if i butcher any names i am sorry) these guys will determine what thread to use because they have what we all need: good, valuable info and bins. but i will be looking at the coolsats thread for sure.

If you are using a 2 lnb set-up you need to make sure the dish is skewable, if you want to PM me your zipcode i can look it up and send you skew, az and elevation.

you have to set up a favorite channel list, and include a carrier channel in the list

thanks man, i will pass that on to cj. if i understand this right i do the following to get this to work:
got to favorites and set up a list of channels(not all will fit unfortunately)
exit and save, then tune to channel 212 or 1212 and leave it for thirty minutes?

Chris you have to make sure you include channel 212 in the favorites list. that is what was said in the old 5000 thread. i think maybe it was breck who was tell somebody how to get more EPG, but im not sure.
