so does mgs have an install limit of 3 times like what sony DRM is doing to Mass Effect, or do you only own the licence like the sony psn release of warhawk that dictates to you that you are not allowed to sell, lend or even give the media you own away?

anyone know if there are any sony draconian DRM restrictions on metal gear solid 4?

that is a very misguided statement as pc titles do sell when they are not made by the likes of EA ect, you know the usual fodder game that is aimed at the 13year old boys that will tantrum at their parents until the game is purchased for them, you know the type, another sequel because of no imagination or a carbon copy of another FPS because of no imagination. But graphics are the most important thing right, that is why bio-shock and crysis sucked then?


BTW all a pc is, is a hard drive, ram, processor & an output device.


since the introduction of the hard drive and the installs game patches on consoles (lmfao at underpowered consoles needing installs to aid performance) the marketing body would argue that they are more PC's/MediaCentres than consoles to try to deflect negative opinions because of how lame they actually are.

you know buzz words are the COOL thing and they ACTUALLY aid sales, marketing sucks as its lies and deciept but what do you expect from any mpaa/riaa member?

a media centre that can't even play half of the java or flash based content on the net.

I suppose if Halo4 came out next week it would be the 360 topping the weeks sales figures.

This sort of thing always happens when a long awaited (and hyped) game arrives. In total sales figures they are still playing catchup. Hopefully there won't be any firmware/patch nonsense with this title. Reliability wise it seems to be on spec with other electronic hardware <0.3% which is about right for sony who have always made pretty good hardware (the ps2 dvd drive excepted)

Still not enough stuff released for me to want one, and at least I'm honest about boycotting sony because of their other activities. I don't even d/l their films and music items.
