Both are companies who destroy competition and abuse their position. As a paid up member of EFF and the FSF I think it's clear what I would rather spend my money on thanks.
Most people see them as enemys , i dont see it like that, they are both in to this, and both are fixing up things, prices etc.

It does, you just didnt got it.
It was just an example that when people spend their money in something like XB or PS3, HDDVD or BD they can change their minds and change course cause they see it like a competition, like a team.

All these years MS cause windows was the company of antichrist, now that they have released xbox all the sudden is the good ferry.

I am not either and i am not sony's friend either, even tho that most staff in my house are sony, but i can not accept that sony is the evil one and all the others arent, all comes down to money.
If it wasnt sony it would be toshiba or mitshubishi or what ever. (back on topic) Sony and BD did what movie studios asked for, if HDDVD was the wining format, movie studios would have asked a copy protection system from them too.
Lets hope that even tho that BD is loaded with locks they got the picture and noticed that the best way to beat piracy is low prices, and if warner is willing to, other will follow.
