Twilight; Any DVD Looked at Twilight and Ok'd it after some protection changes. DVD shrink looked at it and the main Movie alone is 6,389mb with a lot of red after that showing 7,123mb total. I am going to try DVDFab to see how that goes. I don't remember ever seeing amovie taht large. It shows it to be 122 mins. Any idea why it shows such a large file? I put in Transporter 3 just to compare & it shows 3,460mb and total is 4,022mb & is 104mins.

Aside from the fact that Twilight is horrible writing and thus makes for a horrible movie, it's nice to know that AnyDVD is still doing such an awesome job.

...yeah, sorry, just had to say that. Saw "Twilight (Success)" in the Last Posted column and I just couldn't help it.

Anyway. :)

can anyone give any help as to using the mobile option for this movie?

sorry if im posting in the wrong thread, i tried looking thru the forums and didnt know where to post.

im having trouble using the dvdfab mobile with this movie. altho i have never used this option before. i usually just use normal dvdfab

1. it takes almost 2 hours to convert to iphone or ipod (mpeg4) is this normal?

2. the audio and video are out of sync. the audio starts up as normal, but the video starts almost a minute to two ahead.

any insights? if necessary can someone point me to the right board at least. sorry i dont post here often cuz i barely have problems.

@Kronoz311
That is approx the correct time frame for the process, my kids use AVS Video converter6 and it takes about 3-4 hours to finish the process. Their computer is a PIV 2.5 Gig with 1.5 Gig of RAM. If you have a faster processor with more memory your time will be reduced. In this case, you are shrinking and converting the video file, this takes more horsepower than simply shrinking the file to fit a DVD-5 disk. I hope that this helps you.

Do you have Rebuilder set for DVD-9?

Something's not right there. Try updating Rebuilder to the latest version using the full installer.

No, unfortunately I don't use that program, check under the various settings and make sure there is not an option for syncing audio/visual tracks or something to that effect. Hopefully someone who uses the program has already solved the problem and will share their success.

"Main Movie alone is 6,389mb with a lot of red after that showing 7,123mb total."

Success Success:
As I said I would try DVDFab and it did work (7.46GB) & then to DVD Shrink (4.19GB) and now I have a normal size file to use for Decrypter to finish the disc. I still don't know why when using DVD Shrink originally it came out to such a large file and such a large RED portion in the slide bar. There was no way that I could see to reduce it enough to fit Shrinks requirements. Anyone have any ideas?

That's why we're talking about DVD Rebuilder.
As far as burning, use ImgBurn. DVD Decrypter's burning engine is old and needed to be updated and that's why ImgBurn was created.

Since you mention this I do have and use IMG on my Vista machine.
How do I get DVD Shrink to open ImgBurn after is completes ripping. With my HP Laptop DVD Shrink opens Decrypter after it is done so all I have to do is put in the blank disck and Hit OK?

ok im back..

i actually do not have a good copy of this. i thought it was a successful burn. BUT as i watched the movie.. shortly after scene 7 mid conversation it cuts back to the menu and just loops uncontrolably.

i originally used dvdfab, then dvdshrink thats when i noticed the prob

i then used dvdfab, vob blanker, then dvd shrink...same problem

i now thanks to this board, found dvd shrink with imgburn? and used that and same problem.

so does anyone else have this issue? i cant even select a later chapter after 7 or else it freezes. its happens right after the quote "what if im not the hero, what if im the bad guy" in the cafeteria scene in chapter 7.

thanks guys, and sorry if this post is bad, its late and im annoyed at how this isnt workin
