I agree totally with Darthnip...

Basically him and Dela are the founders of the channel, they can tolerate certain things, but when u call every 1 Racest, and call him a dumbass, thats just going a little to far.

Apart from that, the Channel is great, we need some more people.

Some people come in and might say hi, then a few minutes later leave....

There may be a few people in there, but every1 isnt in there 24/7...

So come in, ask a question, have a chat, jsut idle for a bit.. Its worth it

it is still a fun place man. After seeing the "blaaaaah" thing for a year now, it gets quite annoying i must say. Back when we did it on liquid, it was cool. I guess it just got old after a while.

LOL ... even that aside ... it's lost it's magic .... I'd say after we made the move to addictz .... hell even when helping people ... they lash at ya ... not a memorable time for me anymore.

yeah it doesn't differ very much from here i guess, you got the regulars that are cool, but there are idiots that come in and get what they need and split. or the people that want help and dont like the help you offer, thats why i stick with my original plan....IDLE :)

depends on how you look ta it man, i've never been on IRC for the conversations. I guess after 10 years now i just do what I do and dont worry to much about others. Alot of people like to chat and thats fine, I dont just sit in our channel though, i'm in lots of others doing my thing so i dont mind idling much. so yeah i guess it gets boring to just idle, but i'm just idling in 1 channel and doing stuff in others so it all works out.

There is no damn difference on the chan its the way it always, now if there wasnt arguments that were completely stupid then it might not seem different!

i dont think it was ever meant ot be "fast". just a place to go and hang out. If you needed something and we could help, great. If not and you wanted to just idle, thats great too.

Phantom and VCDJunkie didnt leave i still see VCXD on MSN ever now and again and phantom had said ages ago that he'd be gone a long time! Lately the chan has been way more active than it was for ages, u were gone for a while.

I dont really notice any difference since last year. This time around we have much more appreciative users. You know last year we had a lot (and one we'll never forget lol) of assholes who used come in basically demanding help. When people demand help now we just throw em out lol

Ive been going there for about Half a year now, idling when im not here (seems longer then that though) but its cool.

Met some good people there, with some good advice, aswell as giving some of my own advice.

People just seem to come in, ask a question then leave straight away, or dont say a thing and leave.

Not everyone is in there all the time. Time differences play a part in it aswell.

But, come in, ask a question, hang around for a bit and if somebody see's the question and has an answer they will help.

Once you get ur question answered, dont just leave, hang around for a bit and have a chat, about anything.

These days the channels are a fun place to hang out, and there is always something happening everyday, not all day though.

So, download mIRC, type /server irc.addictz.net:6667 and /join #ad_buddies and have a chat with us.

No offense Praetor, but I've hardly seen you come in in the last six months, and I certainly haven't seen you attempt to actually help a soul in the channel (oh and God yes by all means correct me if I'm wrong,) so I hardly see how you are qualified to give such broad and matter-of-fact statements about the atmosphere, helpfulness, and overall intelligence level of the channel.

If you are holding a grudge, or just don't particularly like someone in the channel, please come out and say it. I, for one, have shown nothing but kindness to you, while in turn you have been and continue to be condescending in the channel. It seems you want no part of any conversation in the channel unless you can find a way to put yourself above others. The honest truth is, nearly everyone in the channel is put off by it, so it should come as little suprise to you that "poopy happens" when you come in. There was a time when I showed you said kindness, and stood idly by while you made a complete ass of yourself, but no more! If you've something to say to me personally, you know where to reach me.

That said, I for one also enjoy being a part of #ad_buddies. It's a great place to give and receive help as well as chat with some great people from these afterdawn forums (in spite of what some might like to lead you to believe.) All the regulars are quite friendly and there is typically quite a jovial atmosphere, so please, do, come on in!

the only thing i hate about ad_buddies is when people come in ask something n then leave i say its fucking sucks ass!!.... WTF is wrong with people now a days!!!... cant you get the point and IDLE in teh stupid chanel!!!...

i could name a big ass user list that came in to the chan n left after they got help.... man this shit pissing me off so damn much!!...
