Hi im new on here so any help would be greatful!!!
Ive bought an DSi running v1.2e and also bought an R4i cartridge from www.r4i-sdhc.com using their latest firmware v1.12b english. Anyway i just keep getting the dreaded "Loading" screen and nothing else happens.
I emailed the company but no reply so ive been reading this forum and tried all the tricks and still keep getting the loading screen....
Is the DSi or R4i cartridge faulty or do i keep trying the firmware updates. Although ive tried them from 1.09 to 1.12b and still the same loading screen.
Any help is much appreciated...

Hi all ive been having probs with the R4 SDHC this solution works with my card and chip.Format your chip FAT32 then go to this website www.r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp com.Click on R4i SDHC kernel updated to v1.12b on oct 23rd 2009.You will see download address under R4i english you will see Italy Germany USA.Click USA save the rar file open the file copy and paste the four files to your chip. It works for me hope it works for you

i have just got a R4-SDHC and have tried loads of different version to no avail.
1.12b / 1.55 / 1.26 / 1.25 / 2.02 / 1.20 / 1.25 / 1.19
just keep getting Loading... and Error ?
no joy so far any help would be greatly appreciated for sure

Penfold, have a look at this site www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/
It lists around 20 different versions of software for the various R4 cards. There is also a guide to help you identify which card you have. Hope this helps.

much appreciated no joy though loads of these seem to be corrupt when i download them.
found another string about downloading a usa version from www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp worked a treat first time.

hey i have the same problem the loading screen is all that appears, and ive downloaded the rar.file of the website but even when i have unzipped that and put on each file still doesnt work if you can send me what ever i need to get it to work id appreciate it

Send me your email address privately as on here they do not accept emials being thrown about and give me the following info:
1) What console do you have, DS, DS Lite or DSi?
2) What ias the R4 type you bought, SDHC, R4i?
3) What SD card did you buy, 2gb, 4gb?
4) What make is your SD card, Kingston, Sandisk?

Hello to all
first post,wish it was on a happier subject.
I too have had a nightmare with 5 R4 sdhc cards bought recently.I am using 4gb kingston micro sdhc cards i have tried every firmware i can get my hands on with no luck,Puggwash if you could help me out it
would be most appreciated

Where did you get the R4's from?

puggwash you seem to be the man that can help me, i just bought 5 r4 sdhc cards and 5 micro sd s on the box of the sd chips it says san disk, i got them from depot888, i wanted to do games for the kids for xmas, ive tried to put games on it but when i put the e4 into the ds it is sayin "please put "loaderxxx"file into sd card". what does that mean? if you could help you would be a legend in my gaff

Your SD card is not allowing the software to load properly.
The R4 card is not sending the info to your DS so it will show a loading error as you have described.
What version have you loaded onto your SD card (1.12, 1.15, R4i etc).
I have a vast selection of software that I can help you with to get it working but may take time findign the right one.
