Just wondering, if a stabilizer will work with a video capture card. I am using the ATI USB 2.0 external unit. I have done some reading and just can't figure out if it is compatable.

Of course it's compatible. That's what it's for, going between the source and your capture device.

Thank you. I was unsure because a few Ebay auctions said "not compatable with capture cards".

What device are you looking at?
Some connect to the PC via USB or firewire, thus would not work with a capture card.

This will do fine. Composite input and output, so it will work with any capture card.

Ok, so It arrived today and I hooked it up according to instructions. Seems to make the video better but not what I expected. Also, my capture ATI USB 2.0 external capture unit now freezes up everytime I turn it on. Is there a setting that I have to adjust?
