I havnet done really much research on this but i figured i would get a much faster and simpler response here. Afterdawn is awsome. anyway so heres what im trying to do. ok so i have a modded xbox. i have a hdd with the partitions and everything. i ftp games and i know how to ftp and everything. i want to know if i can FTP music to my xbox. like music i can listen to during games that support it. where do i ftp the music? and what format does it have to be in? mp3 or MWa or some other. any advise would be great. THanks. -Rick
use this tool http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/~xbox/xbox-scene/tools/utils/xboxst097.zip (right click and save) And all you have to do is convert your mp3 to wma format. You can get tools to do this like dbpoweramp. Then all you do is use the tool to connect to your box and it will transfer the wma files to your xbox where it stores your in game music.
Doesn't the Virtual Xbox CD Ripper convert the files into WMA before it transfers them to the xbox? No WMA converter is needed
wait so in a modded xbox, can you put in a mp3 cd? and it will convert to wma and save then to the hdd?
I'm not entirely sure about putting an mp3 cd in the xbox hard drive and ripping it,but the Virtual Xbox CD ripper works on your PC and basically FTP's and converts your music files to mp3 while putting them into the proper directory on your Xbox...www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EEEZyZyZyFMDuXvxJR.php
