HDD Warranty!!!

Hey guys i have a Maxtor and it died.. i called the company i bought the Xbox from and they say i should send it in to Mator because they have a 3year warranty. The HDD have Evolution X installed by the company i bought it from, do you think Maxtor will repalce the HDD?

 

I think they will.... It will take a long time for you to recieve a new one however!

 

and how long you think that will be? they should receive the dead HDD tuesday...

 

Most likely it will be atleast a couple of weeks. Big companies are gay like that, and they take forever to get you something back!

 

holy shit i swear its such a pain to get it replaced. i bought 120 gig hdd and it died (THAT WAS A GOOD 60 BUCKS GRRRR...) i sent it in, and then it came bac but still broken. u have to send it over and over again. i sent it 4 times and i didnt get anything working. ><. dont waste ur time like i did. go buy another hdd.

 

Xstation3.... what company did that? i hope it not Maxtor.

 

o wow i forgot to mention brand. it was maxtor. but it was super messed up.

 

yea i think mine was sum special case. like the eeprom on the hdd died.

 

lol i guess our problem is the same becuase mines keep on making noise and i found out it was dead.
