firstly any help with this will be gratefully received. can anyone suggest some software that will convert my xvid files into files that i can burn to dvd.
Any file can be burnt to a DVD as long as it is small enough to fit. Not sure what you mean by XviD to DivX.
thanks for the reply. i meant to put xvid to dvd. all i want to do is convert two xvid files to a format (vob?) that are playable on my dvd player. i've done it a million times with avi, divx etc but the software i normally use (winavi converter) does not recognize these xvid files hence the posting. at the moment i'm thinking convert the xvid to divx and then do the conversion to dvd from there but i think i'll lose alot of quality in the final picture.
