Softmod went bad. The xbox had been pre-patched from live and we didn't know it. Now when I start my box it will try to load pheonix the colors light up but I just get a black screen, don't get errors as others do. No program I've tried allows me into the xbox to delete the mechassualt game save and I can't get anything loaded onto a new hard-drive. Please I know someone can help, tell me what I need to do inorder to A. fix it so I can at least play regular games, or B. install new drive. Now I'd rather have the 40gig drive so fixing the other one isn't a main priority. But can't play regular games just always loads the crack. Again please help, I've read and tried everything. Thank you.
Hey so nothing at all will load up?? No default.xbe's.. .I was thinking that you may be able to boot up with the slayer disc or something similar.. You could make an ISO of Evo X or Avalaunch and see if that boots up.. If it doesn't then I think you will have to get a chip.. before doing this though see if one of the above loads...
