XviD Sound

    I've got a XviD video and plays fine.only thing is that it is really quiet (the sound),so i have to turn up the volume on the device i'm playing it on to nearly full.is there anyway to increase the default sound on it as my with sound on full on my pc it still isn't loud enough?

    XviD is just a video codec. It has nothing to do with audio.
    Chances are that your audio is AC3. What are you using for decoding?

    I'm using DivxToDVD.I posted my reply several hours ago but for some reason hasn't been posted? :|

    So you are converting? You never mentioned that before.

    So is the volume low before converting or only after?

    I ran into a similar problem after changing my codecs out to a different codec pack... Namely k Codec. I bet that may have something to do with low sound. I loaded back my nimo audio codecs and it was fine again. Hope that helps...
