I want to create a menu for a bunch of avi files which my Pioneer 676A (standalone divx player) will read & be able to navigate. I have DVDLab Pro but this will only encode with DVD compliant files: mpeg2,VOB. Is there a way around this? If not, is there another program (preferably free) that could?
    Thanks in advance.

If you want DVD menu's then you need to convert to MPEG1/2. Otherwise wait and hope that your player recieves a firmware update to support DivX menus.

hmm..you could use a program called Roxio Easy Media Creator. It has a utility called DVD Builder and can make menus and such. but unfortunately for you it's not freeware. however, you can find it on the net if you know what i mean.
