NTSC Or Backup?

    i have just bought scrubs the complete first season of amazon.com(us) to be deliverd here to me in the uk is there a way i can convert the disc's without backing them up or do i have to change the region and back them up?

    if you make a backup then it will be region free and then all your worries are over.

    1. origial is asfe from damage and put into a safe place.
    2. backup is region free and no need to change hardware to a different region.
    3. ....don't have a 3 answer, HA!

    ok thnx i did back them up but i just wandered if i could change the region of the actual dvd's

    you cannot change the actaul original's region to another....it's embedded

    Rooney, do you want to just change from region 1 to 2 (US to europe) or do you want to change the system from NTSC (Us) to PAL (europe)???

    im not sure what the diffrence is? i was just wanting to know if there was a way i could watch it on a region 2 dvd player
