Hi. Did you see there's another codec coming up? It's called HDX4. Has anyone made some experiences with this codec or with the "Movie Creator"? In the challenges for example on doom9, HDX4 was the fastest codec and had a good quality. Can anyone confirm this? Here's the homepage: http://www.hdx4.com
I think it's an outstanding program (I mean the MovieCreator); I compared the encoding speed to the speed of TMPGEnc using the DivX 6 codec: With high quality settings TMPGEnc's encoding time was 1 hour and 23 minutes; the MovieCreator using the HDX4 codec did this job in 51 minutes!!! The quality of both the created files is nearly equal; if you're not focussed on comparing them, you won't find a difference. Maybe you should give it a try yourself!
