HI there, IM a newbie to the xbox scene I have a softmodded xbox with evox and surreal 64 Im wanting to get n64 roms to play on my xbox I have purchased a game disk which has 64 roms on it and they work there was also some 64 roms pre installed when i got my xbox they also work But i wanted to download my own roms and load them on to my hard drive when I down load roms they are in zip. format I can burn them to dvd and load them in to the roms folder on my xbox but when i go to surreal it dosent reconise them and they dont come up on the screen I was wondering what format the roms have to be in to get the xbox to read them I noticed that the xbox reads the disk that I bought as a game disk but mine it reads as unknown. any help would be great thanks josy
i am new to xbox modding but i know if u r gonan burn a dvd to put n64 games on it u need to use a prgram like xISO and burn in xbox disc format, xbox ddv's have a different structure than pc dvds. or just ftp them into ur hdd that should work.
