Had to do a reinstall of winxp pro couple of days back, after reformatting. (corrupted registry I think)
Carried out full update from microsoft, ensured I had all the latest drivers installed etc. So Pc was back into pristine conditon so to speak.
Reinstalled Nero (updated to latest version) but then found that could I not burn any CD's, this problem persisted when two other known good CD burners.
Installed Musicmatch V.10 again could not burn any CD's in any of the 3 burners.
Even tried using Windows media player to burn audio cd, but problem persisted.
Strange thing though when I installed CopytoDVD and used the copy to CD-r option that worked ok.
Anybody got any ideas on what the problem might be, helpful suggestions greatly appreciated.
Also anybody now if there is a CD-Text Writing facility in CopytoDVD?
I could not find the option

Very strange. What kind of error message you got while trying to burn with Nero?

No error messages came up as such, other than occasional error reporting to Microsoft.
This problem really getting to me now.
I wonder if SP2 has anything to do with it?
    I don,t ever think I had any major burning problem/issues with SP1
Anybody got any thoughts on that?
