i have a spare 250 gig harddrive sitting here but am unsure on how 2 set it up 2 plug into xbox what programs do i use and how do i do it
mik4x4, you must have your Xbox modded in some way in order for you to install that 250GB HD in your Xbox w/out getting any errors. If you have it modded, then you can add the HD in, format it, and it will work fine.
no i dont have a xbox yet but am just gettin in to the modding side just practising on mates xbox dont know anything just after help & info on how 2 do it
Well welcome aboard the Xbox mod scene! Here are my suggestions to get you started in the right direction... 1) Order an Xecuter 3ce modchip. Don't let anybody tell you to get a different chip, because the fact is this chip is the most reliable one on the market today and it has the best support team by far (being Team Xecuter) 2) Order your chip from this site, http://www.psxtune.com They have the best prices on their modchips and also ship worldwide (cheap shipping!) 3) Follow this basic guide that shows how to install the chip, how to do the little extra stuff you must do and where to find those "hard to find things" for the X3 chip.... http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/x3beginnersguide.htm
or if you want to save a few bucks like me : ) 1) get a spider chip 2) go wild if you need a lil help visit www.copying-xbox-games.com it started me off on a good start. just look for their outline that holds your hand from beginning to end peace
I don't highly recommend the Spider chip because I have a load of people on this forum with really bad luck with that chip, nothing but troubles. At least invest in a decent chip like an X2.6 CE chip.
