Step on How to Get Internet on a psp

Found these on another site.....
1. Go to the Main Menu of your PSP.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll down to Network Settings and Press the X button.
4. Select Infrastructure Mode.
5. Select New Connection.
6. Name the connection so that you know it is for web browsing. (ex. WebConnect)
That way you can use another connection for the rest of your online games.
7. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
8. Select the Scan option and let it pick up your WLAN settings.
9. Once it picks up a connect, Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
10. Select Custom for the Address Settings.
11. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
12. Leave IP Address Setting on Automatic.
13. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
14. Select Manual for your DNS Setting.
15. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
16. Enter in 67.171.70.72 as your Primary DNS and just leave the Secondary DNS blank.
17. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
18. Select "Do Not Use" for your Proxy Server settings.
19. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
20. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu.
21. Push the X button to save your settings.
22. Do a quick test of the connection to make sure it's working correctly.
23. Launch Wipeout Pure and go to the Download option in the main menu.
24. Select the name of the new connection you just made (ex. WebConnect), connect, and enjoy browsing the internet on your PSP.

No look Im Sure u might of heard Of The Game ''Wipeout Pure'' Well on the main menu of that game there is a Downloads Section now when u click that Download Section It takes u too a sony homepage that u cannot view. So when u setup your psp with the instrution above when u click on Downloads u will be able to surf the net... There are many search engines Inculding Google,Yahoo, Etc etc.. Now i have a website so u can logg inot your msn without having Msn Messenger and itsveryuseful when your goin on trips u can chaT ON MSN lol

Ok couple questions?
1.) How are you doing this on trips i thought you had to had to have a Wireless Network?
2.)Is there anyway that you can connect (browse) the internet without having to get/use Wipe Out?

Lol Just saw my y mistake lol i was tired when i wrotew this but yes u can only surf the net in hotspots ( Like Airports etc etc)
And yes write now all u need is Wipeout to do dis

Hey guys just thought I might add that acorrding to an E-mail I get from Sony PSP isn't compadible whith WPA (WIN-FIN Protected Accesse)!!!

first time here so... I want to go online and stuff... I followed your directions...but I always have an error when it test connection...I also have another question what is with the wep code or something...because when I scaned the connection... I have like 2 connections...which are netgear, nevada retreat...so help please...thanks

Are you useing any security settings? If so the only security setting that will work at this time is WEP!!!

You can only use it with wifi (wireless) and the keyboard comes up when you click the adress bar. It works like a cell phone.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh HELP?

u can use the psp to go on the internet if ur within 100 ft. of a wireless router like if u got dsl or cable modem.

hey bluddust tanx 4 posting that way to log on the internet there is way to log on without wipeout there this huge nerd where my brother works and he knows sooo much crap about psp he can control stuff in his house with his psp he can turn on the light and tv with his psp its crazy he knows how to log on with out wipe out i dont though i got ask him ill post it if i learn how
