ya i heard there releasing half-life 2 for ps3 when it comes out its gonna be sweet and rumors are it will include cs:source and Half-life 1 and finnaly half-life 2 deathmatch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wtf? Everyone has played hl2 on pc already, it's not that good. And there is a hl2 deathmatch already. Has been a long time.

Or maybe not? How? Graphics might be little better. Still not worth buying. Besides it comes to xbox soon, few months before x360 launch. And by the way, I haven't heard it comes to ps3... At gamespot it only says pc and xbox.

no but if you look at the screen for the specs of ps3 at e3 it says it will run the unreal engine and under that half-life 2 engine

The real fun with half-life 2, and the original half-life is not about the single player game. It's the huge amount of free online-only play mods that are made. These are pretty much just entirely different games using the HL engine. Some are pretty amateur, but many are amazing. My computer now is too shitty to run any new games on, but I used to play the original half-life all the time. I think I'll probably get half-life 2 for pc when I get my new laptop, instead of for any console systems...
