When I try to run my Empire Earth II Demo I get a popup that says that Direct3D Accelerator is not enabled.

I read that I had to go to dxdiag in run then display and enable it there but it says that it is Not Available and cannot be enabled/disabled.

How do I enable it? Or install something that fixes it?

type in dxdiag at the run command & will tell you what version of directx you are using & what video card you have but i think your directx is version 6 or 7 as a customer had similar problem & that is what he was using, not 9b

    I figured it out.

When I turned off my security system it shut it down.

I turned it on and it works fine now.

    Thanks though
