recording live stream with hidownload

How do you record live streaming video with hidownload (like from a continously-going webcam, for example, the live weather feed on http://www.wesh.com/weather/index.html)?
I have managed to download streaming clips using hidownload/url helper, but the LIVE streaming clips have different urls, I don't see any .wmv etc file extensions. The url that seems closest to what I need is rtsp://a190.l1289038189.c12890.g.lm.akamaistream.net/Akamai_Live_38189
but when I send that to hidownload, it doesn't seem to do anything with it, just sits in its "normal" box (it will go to the "download" box if doubleclicked, but eventually it goes back to the "normal" box by itself, with no apparent result). Please help! This is for work.

Hard. Sreams doesn't even exist as a file on server. You should use some program which can record stream in real time, while you're watching it.

Thanks for the responses, but unfortunately, I still couldn't get it to work with the url you gave me. Did you try it in hidownload and did it work for you?
I am also concerned that I was unable to find the mms you pointed out with url helper, perhaps I need another url snooper as well?

My first choice would be GetASFStream. Second choice's Net Transport or SDP Multimedia.
