I only get ms dashboard

i was trying change my default dashboard but edited something wrong Now my xbox will not boot evo dashboard and i can not ftp to it to rename the file i am still able to play xbox games from a dvd but nothing else. so i guess my question is how do i fix this problem without losing all of my files. All of my settings are 0.0.0.0 can someone give me all the settings I need

 

Try using an evox disc to boot the dashboard.

 

I can't seem to burn the cd right...can someone hook me up?

 

If you can,make a boot disk with something like avalaunch or unleashed as an app. MAinly because they have file managers that are pretty good. Then when you boot to the disk just launch one of these apps and then you can browse your files to see what the matter is. Once you fine what's wrong you can change whatever you need to get your box running good again.

HINT:unleashed has a decent text editor,which could help out alot in your case.

 

What do you mean? Do you have the official slayer's auto installer?

 

i thought i had it from bearshare but it does not work... I tried it with and without the dummy file
