Blue Screen

    Hello all. I have a problem, any help would be appre. I was working with my pc & got a blue screen. I shout the pc down & tryed to reboot only to get a message saying operating system not found. got the same message time & time again. I was running Windows XP. Does this mean the HD has died? does anyone have any solutions??

    Also let me add that the monitor won't come out of hibernation as a result of the above problem.

    if seeing that above message than the monitor does come out of hibernation. does the motherboard see the hd??

    Thanx 2 all that responded. Seems the power supply to the HD went bad somehow. switched the power cord & all is up & running. Thanx again
