Hello i have been using Vso Divx2DVD and my avi files have turned out atrocious on DVD, they freeze and then start again, but these green patches are beyond me. I'm using Ritek RO3's so im pretty sure it's not them. I'm using CloneDVD 2 to burn can any one explain why my DVD's are turning out so bad and can anyone suggest a better a way of putting movie files (AVIs) onto DVD Thanks
Hi, I dont use the same software as you but I'm getting the identical problem.....'green patches' since last night if it makes you feel any better :-/. Just couldn't work it out and gave up out of anger and tiredness around four hours later at 3.00a.m this morning. None of my movie skips though... and also there are no sound/audio issues. I've never encountered green patch problem before which seems to flicker at the top and bottom of the picture if played back in a stand alone player and it makes the whole movie unwatchable. Weird thing is that if I play the PRE authored but joined mpg file through my pc straight from the hard drive, the picture looks great and there are no problems at all. But if I place the DVD Lab Pro comiled and burnt dvd movie into a stand alone dvd player it goes flickery green all the way through. It's not my dvd stand alone player at fault as it's only this latest project I'm compiling that is causing issues. Everything else that I've ever converted using the same software (Womble MPG-VCR & DVD Lab Pro) plays back perfectly in anything. Basicly, I've joined a 2 segment mpg (originated from a 2cd SVCD)in Womble Mpg-Vcr as I have done many times before. I then import the joined mpg into DVD Pro, demux, create menu, chapters etc and I then compile project to PAL dvd. Tried this actual project three seperate times from bin/cues and same results each time. This is if I burn the compilied project with Nero 6.6.0.12, DVD Decriptor or DVD Lab Pro's own integral burning facility. Sorry I don't have an answer for you but I thought I'd suscribe to this thread in the hope that some1 might have some ideas for you to try that I also might be able to use. I'm still looking around for a solution and I'll have another go at this when I get home from work tonight. Of course if I find out what the prob is I will let you know as soon as. Good luck!
