Ok..... I posted this in another forum and I realized I should post it here. soooooo ....... I'm not having a problem per say ..... my DVD writer does a great job and I couldn't be happier with it but.....after a session of burning I found out that when I go to delete the temperary files ....... I noticed in MY COMPUTER (windows explorer) that my DVD drives have turned themselves into CD drives. why is that? Everything works just fine! but for some reason Windows lists the 2 drives as CD drives! this only happens after I burn DVDs. I use DVDDecryter, then DVDRemake, then DVDRebuilder and burn with CopytoDVD. Everything couldn't be better..... all my burns are great! LONG LIVE DVDDECRYTER .......... but can someone tell me why windows lists my drives as CD drives, afterward?

Because the OS lists the Drive as a CD if it's a DVD, or Burner, etc. Before or after you burn a disk.
