   i think that sometimes people need an answer fast and it might be a good idea to put a link to the java chat on the front page so that people can pop in and ask a question if they need to.

   Chat / IRC / etc option has been requested several times in the past, you can find the answer to that question from this forum (aD feedback) and detailed explanation of "why".
