    Hi all,

Im trying to find a converter to take a signal from my dvd player and display it on my lcd monitor. You need a video to Vga converter, but I can't work out if they would work good enough or if they are a waste of time. I've seen the prices range from over a grand to under $100.
Does anyone have one? What is the picture quality like? Should I just forget it and get a cheap computer and run it throught there? Any help would be great.

An example of a converter is here http://www.starvalleysolutions.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=195

    Cheers

Its ok. It's better than a mid grade crt television but not much. Your better off saving for something HD
