A vendor for our University Bookstore has been selling them Verbatim Master Copy DVD-R's at 18 bucks a pop. They have offered to sell general use quality media (650NM laser) for a much lower price, but the bookstore people are concerned with compatibility.

Will the Sony DRU500A, Pioneer DVRA05, DVRA04, and DVRA03 drives, as well as about any drives, work with this media?
