if you softmod your xbox you can use xbox live! all you have to do is simply. 1. put in orignal game you softmodded with. 2. run linux. 3. turn off mod. 4. it restarts your xbox. so turn it back on. 5. your xbox will not go to your mod dashboard.. so it worked you turned off your mod. 6. go to netowrk settings in m$ dashboard. turn ip configuration to automatic and dns configuration to automatic. 7. connect to xbox live. 8. wallah you are on xbox live and you thought you couldn't.

Now that your back on Live! Here comes to good bit. You are most likey in need of a Dashboard Update what the latest one is??? I fairly sure it has been updated though NOT TO include the Bert & Ernie patch (i.e. Sotmod) hack. Unless your somekind of sofmoding masochist who knows no other joy in this life! Get yourself a cheap Modchip like the Aladin Hell it's only $10.00(USD) People! And you'll never have to worry about lossing your FTP access to your XBOX. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
