Hey I was wondering would my sony ps2 HDD work in my softmodded xbox? I was just thinking about this cuz my ps2 got stolen when i didnt have the HDD in it so I have a 40GB HDD and no PS2 lol/cry's. I am using evoX dashboard.
Sure you can you'll just have to reformat it using an .xbe such as Slayers Auto Installer or you could check out xboxhq.com for an even better auto installer. Give it a shot!

k il take off my siggy oh and would Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0.Xbox-Hq work i already have it ! it uses the splinter cell exploit. And is there a certiain type the HDD needs to be? I've heard it needs to be ATA and im not sure what the sony is.
k welli formatted the ps2 HDD but when i tried to lock it it said "this drive does not support the ATA security spec" does this mean it wont lock? I am using xboxhdm and hotswapping it. any ideas anyone? Thanks -Kyletoff
