I'm buying a laptop off ebay but it does not have a DVD drive just a CD Drive. If I use dvd decrypter and make the DVD i decrypted into a Media player file then transfer the file to my laptop will I be able to watch the DVD on it or will I need a DVD Drive? Thankyou, Andrew. (sorry if ive posted this in the wrong forum)
nope, not at all, if what you said is to shrink the movies using dvd decrypter and then send the files somehow onto you dvd(that part is kinda tuff), then you wont need a dvd drive, all you will need is a program to play the movie. the dvd drive is only for playing dvd's directly off a disc.
isnt there just a way to conect the laptop to the pc using some wire conncetion, or a wireless router of soe sourt.
I'm not really familiar with that method. I have a spare internet cable, like the ones you plug into your phone. if I plug one end into my desktop and one end into the laptop, will that connect them?
you need a network cable that is a larger version of the telephone cable by 4 pins. the cable you need is a crossover cable which means it is not straight pin to pin. than you have to setup the 2 computers to see each other. so upto you which way to go, cable or flash drive
