Ok i know this is a pithetic plea for an explanation/instructions that have probably been given on this message board a million times but i'm going to go forth with it anyways. My mom broke my cell phone, which i'm fairly attached to, and i'v been told that at this point i should just by a new one, but all my phone numbers, pictures and ringtones are on my current one and i have no way of gettin them off, except that i bought one of those lil usb port plug-ins, i got it home, was all excited, but now i really don't know how to get it all up and working. I tried reading over other peoples explanations and downloading the software but none of the links worked anymore so i was wondering, if someone out there could please, pleeease help me and possibly dumb it down a little bit. Have you gotten the drivers for your particular phone? if so, have you gone into start> settings> control panel> phone and modem options and made sure your "Motorola USB Modem" was present (if not, you may need to add it yourself)?
