Conversion help

    I have a .wmv file i saved off of Movie Maker and i want to encode it with Avi2DVD. I need an .avi file. Is there a free or a cheap conversion thingy to convert .wmv movie file to .avi file so i can burn on dvd.

    You don"t need to convert it to AVI if you just use a Different Program to convert to Mpeg-2/DVD as Converting the WMV to AVI and then From AVI to Mpeg-2/DVD is just going to take a Long time and Totally degrade the Quality....

    If you want to do this the Easiest way just use "VSO DivXToDVD" which will convert from WMV directly to a Video_TS folder which you just Burn to DVD.....

    You can Find DivXtoDVD for free in the Software section...
