How much memory does your system have and what OS are you running? Also, try shutting down all unnecessary programs before you start DVD Lab

It's not really 736mb. Click Start, run, type dxdiag into the run box, click OK. Near the bottom of the box is the memory. OS means Operating System. You have now told me it is Windows XP pro, so I assume your computer is fairly new. I am not an expert with dvd lab and don't know if it is memory intensive. If you have less than 512mb and have never added memory to your computer (which means that you probably have 1 DIMM memory slot open on the Motherboard), it would be well worth the investment of $50 to buy another memory module. It's easy, trust me
See how Windows is allotting the memory now; click start, control panel, performance and maintainnce, system, advanced, settings, advanced, now, the first two boxes should be set to "programs" and the last box should have at least 1500mb of virtual.

I uninstalled dvd lab and put in dvd lab pro and it worked fine now . I checked where you said and both boxs have programs checked but virtual memory is set at 1104 the max is 2208 . my pc was originally 256 mb , but i added a 512 mb memory card . should i change the the amount off virtual memory ?

Your virtual memory is close enough to optimum, let it be. There is something running. Right click on the task bar, click on task manager, tick Processes tab and, although you won't recognize most of the items there, see if there are any you DO recognize that shouldn't be...a virus scanner, Encarta, also, in Programs (start menu), click on start and see what is there that you don't absolutely need.
