ilo dvdr05 Scan mode

    I just bought today a 05,and I hooked it up to my HD Tv w/ the S-video cable.So I was checking out the menu and when I got to the A/V Output menu I've changed the Scan mode from Interlace to Progressive Scan and now I don't have picture(only sound). I reset it a couple times but still no picture.Do you think that if I will switch the S-video cable with Component Video cables I will be able to get the picture back? Thanks

    maybe you can or pick up some progressive scan rca jacks (which is the red,blue,green outputs from your dvd recorder)& plug them into the same colored inputs of your hdtv. You'll get a better picture quality.

    I have used some A/V cables and plug them into the 3 component video jacks and I have got the picture back and I changed the settings back to normal until I buy some regular RCA component video cables.
