These are quite famous discs, seeing as Prodisc is one of the biggest manufacturers of CDRs in Taiwan, behind only CMC and Ritek, and, in my opinion, have always been of the highest quality.

    ATIP generally is:

    ATIP: 97m 32s 19f
    Disc Manufacturer: Prodisc Technology Inc.
Reflective layer: Dye (Short strategy; e.g. Phthalocyanine)
    Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
    nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)

Those were both for my unbranded discs sold as Plajet and for my noname discs, I have tried no other brands but the quality should be the same.
Great quality overall, and highly recommended. Should be really cheap, the only cheaper thing than them around here are Acer Silvers which are IMO not as good.
I've had some problems (Slow reading on the end) with about 5 in a spindle of 100, but other discs, from the same or from different batches, haven't shown these problems. Very highly regarded.

Prodisc is not very well available in here, but the few packs I have burned have been ok. There is nothing however that would raise them above RITEK, which has been flawless for me for years (thounsands burned). Both good discs, unlike CMC.

These are Prodisc 90 min media:

    ATIP: 96m 43s 33f
Disc Manufacturer: Unknown Disc Identification Code
Reflective layer: Dye (Long strategy; e.g. Cyanine, Azo etc.)
    Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
    nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)

Prodiscs, unlabeled, matte-covered, despite the Unknown Disc Identification code, they can be recognized due to their serial number.
Those are recognized as "Phtalocyanine dye type 3"
Plus, they have close to the media the serial number beginning with R039, which denotes them as being 90-minute discs.
The best 90" disc I've ever seen, made my LG-8160b (16/10/40) reach 43.5x read speeds in the outer part on a 88.5-minute disc.
Edit: Also interesting to note is that the ATIP is COMPLETELY gone after recording. (I guess you have to go beyond a certain point for that to happen, or not, anyone knows?)

Strange. I'll also get some 90min prodiscs in a month or so. I'll do some test then ;)

Prodisc have always performed good for me, even better than ritek phthalocyanine and way better than CMC or ritek cyanine.

Between Prodisc and Ritek, which is the better brand, from a longevity perspective.

Difficult to say, although I did read a Japanese survey that said that the Prodisc media lasts as long as TY in sweat tests.

(hi everyone, I am new to here, nice to meet you)

(same as the toppest information in this page)
    ATIP: 97m 32s 19f
    Disc Manufacturer: Prodisc Technology Inc.
Assumed Dye type: Phthalocyanine (Type 9)
    Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
    nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)

The above is the Mitsubishi Chemical, in 50disks pack, made in Taiwan. Someone told me that the max speed for it is 32X, but I haven't tested it yet .... (my driver is 12X)

Til now I have burnt with it for about 60 disks and all of them should be okey (verify by Nero)

But personally I feel that the life time of the disk is very important .... but are difficult to test it.

    ^^

    Smart Buy Super Blue:
    ATIP: 97m 32s 19f
    Disc Manufacturer: Prodisc Technology Inc.
Assumed Dye type: Phthalocyanine (Type 9)
    Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
    nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)
(Same as all the other ATIPS)

Those are cheaper than the silver ones, and are in fact the same media, but the polycarbonate is a light-blue color, giving it its name. Very recommended, burned at 24x here without any trouble, great media and dirt-cheap here (US$25 / 100, comparatively, Mitsui are US$50/100 and Prodisc Silvers US$35/100).

Your ATIP output seems more detailed. Are you using CDRIdentifier 1.63?

This last ATIP I posted was with an older version (the one that gave assumed dye type number), since I had already posted one just like it with the last version.
