witch console would you bye

i cant deside and my money is tight witch would be the best console
to bye out of the xbox 360,the ps3,or the revolution. i cant deside
because they are all play last gen games and i have only 500 dollars.

 

Of course its totally your choice but being an xbox and ps2 fan and nintendo fan i can comment pretty well on which one i think you should buy. I personally would say the xbox360 as i love the original xbox and am amazed at the gaming ideas that they come up with. Of course then again it is your choice and its a hard one to make!

 

Well Personally Im going to purchase the Xbox 360 as of right now. I am also a fan of all three systems and I own a Gamecube PS2 & Xbox right now. The Xbox 360 to me seems to have much more of a propmising future heres why:

1) The technical specs are awesome. The possibilities of what developers could do with it are amazing. Granted it might take a while to unlock its full potential.

2) Xbox360 is centered around the online community. Where the PS3 just mentions it and the revolution wants you to buy games you already own via download to play on your new console.

3) If you ever plan on modding the 360 it will be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

At E3 I was unimpressed by the PS3 and Revolution (What was seen of it anyway) however things could change before there launch date. Sooooo as of right now XBOX 360 All the Way!

 

ya you guys are totaly right i mean sure the ps3 might have more games in the future than the 360 but as valor7 said if you mod it it will totaly sweeeeeet. oh and who is a fan of elder scrolls?

 

My 2 cents...I have a modded xbox, somewhat modded ps2 with hd loader, and used to have a gamecube. My ps2 hasn't been touched in a year beside gta san andreas. Which I stopped play do to bad graphics. Even with the HD cables that I bought. Looks outstanding on my pc, still kinda sucks on xbox. To the point...I'll end up getting all three again just to say I have them and tested all three. But my heart is with xbox. You can do almost anything with a modded xbox its not even funny. I can't even begin to think what 360 will be like. However I do know that ps3 probably look almost the same as 360, so it doesn't really matter. I also think the new ps3 controlers are odd looking. Odd looking has to mean odd feeling, which can totally screw up gameplay. With all that said I love xbox and think its a million times better then ps2...its just an opinion. Just like someone liking peanut butter and jelly sandwiches over a ham sandwich. Although instead of the insides being the same its the outside...I hope thats understandable.


Oh and by the looks of things ps3 is going to cost more...for nothing. They never got the full useage and power of the ps2 and its was hard to program for...and I have read the kinda did the same thing for ps3. While xbox once again is making an easier programing system. Also preorder you xbox 360 asap becuase there might be a sortage, as of now no, but very possible. Well that was longer then I expected, sorry for the long post!


Forgot something...I know your short on cash, but you need to do whatever you can to get an hd tv. I just got a 55in sony mega wega or somthing like that. It might be the prettest thing I have ever seen(while watching hd stuff) other then my girlfriend of course

The revolution got mixed in the noise at e3 but what do you think about the games for the revolution.

The games for the xbox 360 and ps3 are going to about the same. If final fantisy moving to the xbox 360 wont everything else too? To be honest I'm not up to date with what games one system gets and the other doesn't. GTA games was the only one that I really cared about, and it started coming to the xbox.

Now for the revolution...I thinks its in its own little world with Mario and Zelda. No one will ever forget those games, and thats about the one thing keeping it alive. Graphics for those type games don't ever head in the realistic direction, and a cartoon can only look so good. But none the less it will have the sweetest looking mario or zelda game yet.

And for elder scrolls...to be honest I didn't play the other ones. I will say that after seeing the screenshots and movies for it its on my list to get. I am more of the sports game and shoot em' up bang bang kill em' all games. I have read a lot into the xbox 360 games, and I haven't seen one that I wouldn't get if I had the chance. Go to www.gamespot.com and check out the xbox 360 tab. Don't forget to look at the rumor control as well.

Lastly, the games I plan on getting at midnight on lauch day are(if they end up being lauch titles). NBA Live 06, Madden 06, Tiger woods 06, godfather, elder scrools, and possible one other. With the system being 300 or 350 plus 50 or 60 a game...in other words I need a job!

have you heard about saints row if you like gta this is it and much more see on gta the game is leading you to the storyline but there is also free lance and you can stop anytime you want. well saints row is a shoot'em up bang bang game but you choose how the story will go along and there is nothing that is pushing you to continue
the game you canrob stores mug people and blow stuff up.


but it is a gangster game moreless with ragdoll physics i the game
to make i more real.

Well, the 360 is supposed to release at $300, so I am going to buy that when it comes out. I might wait a couple months to buy it however, because systems that first come out seem always seem to have some kind of slight defect.

If the PS3 is cheap enough, I might look into that... I am pissed that there is no HD coming w/ it!

I am going to buy the Revolution, just because I am a big fan of old school games (i.e Mario, Zelda, etc.)

Man all i gotta say is, xbox 360 all the way, theres to much to say about it and i can only think of one word that will describe the next xbox, "FANTASTIC"

 

I'm a big FPS, adventure and sports fan when it comes to games. I pretty much hate RPG's, just because I do not have the patience to get into them.

I would say Xbox 360...cause im a fan of Halo (but not exacly a awesome player)...2nd would be PS3 and last the Revolution...

 

Me its goes with the following options

which will let you access the harddrive and save games to it like the xbox when modded

which has free online play (this is a must to me because i dont want to play online and have to pay 120 bucks a year for it)

which ones support hdtv and has more features like the ps3 blu-ray disc capablity right from the beginning instead of xbox have to buy it later on

and a few extra things like the controller (right now i love the xbox controller and hate the look of the ps3 one_
