i need to buy more media for my xbxo i have and 1.6 xbox made in china and a samsung dvd drive revison f or b i cannot tell i have use ritek RITEKG05. i am all out of media riteks worked great but they r hard to find near my house and same as taiyo yuden so any suggestions. does dvd + r work on the samsung drives.
Wouldn't recommend using +r media. Ritek GO4 dyes also work a treat and verbatim. I have also had much success with datawrite and bulkpak discs, try a few out see what works.

If you burn with dvd decrypter the default setting for burning your game iso's is dvd-rom type. Download it through afterdawn if you havent got it and try it. To be sure check the settings on decrypter to see that its on dvd-rom.
Plus people tend to stay away from +r media on any xbox drive as these are unpredictable you are much better off with -r.
nvm guys this thread may be closed i got the fujifilm dvd + r media and burned it at 16x as a dvd rom and no problems. this fuji film media was from teh tayo yuden lot so everything is good.
