I have just downloaded my first film and am completely lost.
The film is War of The Worlds, it has downloaded as CD1 and CD2
The files in CD1 are; wotw.tc.xvid.cd1.r00 to r47 and one ending in .rar and one in .sfv.

I only have a basic knowledge of computers and would like to put this onto DVD. Can anyone help please.........

    Hi there,

1st off, you will need WINRAR to unarchive those .RAR / .R01 / .R02

Once this is done, it will totaly depend on what is in the archive.

Is is a .AVI file ?
Are they SVDC CD Images ? (.cue/.bin)
    Are they MPG files ?

Once you know what's in there, then we can help you a little more.

Briefly, if they are CD images, you can install Daemon Tools v3.47
It will let you mount those images as a virtual drive.

They you can play, copy extract, whatever you want from that virtual drive.

If you wish/need to convert MPG, AVI files to DVD, I suggest VSO DivXtoDVD.

When all this is done, then we can talk about DVD Media, and burning all this to disk !

    Good Luck !

    Hi again,

So I imagine you have 2 MPG files.

I would install VSO DivXtoDVD v0.5.2b

    http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm

Load then in order, convert and voila !

I always force to NTSC since I'm region 1 and I use NTSC 29,97 fps here.

    Aspect, I keep Automatic.

Then burn with any burning software.
I use Nero or VSO CopyToDVD (Video-DVD).
