Just softmodded my xbox and it work's great but wondering how would i go about FTP'ing my stuff to and from the xbox/pc? Is there a special cable i need as my xbox is not online so can't do it that way! Im using evoX but can use UnleashX if it's needed.
Loads of tutorials on this subject on the site. You will need a crossover cable to connect your xbox and pc directly.
hurray. i softmodded my xbox to. i use unleash x i like it the best. i use dhcp trought ym linksys router start your xbox connected to the net work and make sure it has an ip similar to your computer s BUT NOT THE SAME. example mine is 192.168.1.102 regualr linksys ip. and turn of boost mode i think in unealsh x. i dotn now why but internetexplorer still doesnt work for me anyhow i like FLASH FXP better get this program very good and simple. or qwix aswell. now go to quick connect type in the ip[ of your xbox username = xbox and password = xbox it shoud look like regualr windows folders. c,e,d ...... c contaisn imporant file about your sysetm and d when a disc is inserted conatisn files on agme. D is needed for copying reatil discs.
