can someone tell me if when my xbox makes a clicking sound and flashes red sometimes (more than not) can i fix a part inside like the hd or something else myslef.
Is this clicky noise coming from your HD? If it is, that is a good sign it is crapping out on you. There are two ways you can fix this problem... 1) Put a modchip in your Xbox or softmod it and put in a different HD 2) Buy a new motherboard / hard drive combo for your Xbox. You will need to make sure that it is the correct combo for your Xbox's version. You can get one of these here http://www.llamma.com or even off of eBay.
