nero serial edit

    Hey guys this is my first post tried to remember all the rules sorry if i messup. much respect to everyone for the info yall put to help out me and all the other people. just wanted to know how to edit out my nero serial? Also was having trouble burning a burned disc, have the error log. I am using cheap media but learned from the posts which ones to get from now on. Very big thanks to all.

    @Macario -

    you haven't got your serial number on display in this logfile, so that's ok


    - you're burning too close to outer edge of discs. if you use DVD Shrink, set target size to 4300MB, therefore avoiding outer edge and not sacrificing much space. i do this permanently even on top notch Verbatim media as you're also using

    - hopefully this will go away when you alter the target size. Other than that, everything else in your logfile, such as burner's firmware, Nero version, free memory, media, DMA settings etc etc, are all fine

    so i should burn another copy using DVD Shrink instead of Nero? And sorry if i didnt specify but i am using the cheap media memorex for now.

    to get the movie back to say 4300MB, then yes you'd have to use Shrink on the original movie again. Then use Nero again..


    OMG not Memorex. see 2nd link in my signature re Memorex & see what i refer to it as -
