cd-r will not work 95% of the time, especially in a thomson. cd-rw may work in your thomson, but it is about a 50-50 chance I would say. I would highly suggest going w/ a DVD-R.

stick to DVD-R media, it is your best bet. Most xboxes work with DVD-Rs, but only some work with DVD+Rs. I think a thompson only works with DVD-rs and not DVD+rs. Hope that helps

In my experience, I have never come across an xbox that didn't work with DVD-Rs, but I have come across several xboxes that won't work with DVD+R media. I am not saying that all Thompsons don't work with DVD+R media, but it is safer to stick with DVD-Rs.
