I have tried to get sound and can't seem to get it for showtime, my media player and real player work fine but nada for show time?
The best thing about Nero Showtime is that it can play back anything (and purposes to do so as it prompts you to take over playback for all sorts of media files during installation). So far It has not played back a single thing, it has taken over from. Recommended: If you can play something already, don't let Nero Showtime take over for god sake. As you will be either waiting longer than 10mins for playback or never watch the movie at all.
Dear lhack, Nero Show Time works very well for me, other media players too. In your case, you may want to check the audio config. of the program.
I just installed Nero 6.6 Ultra and the only problem I have is with Showtime...It plays .avi and .mpg files fine but totally locks up with .vob files. It's so stuck I have to control-alt-delete to kill it. Maybe if I uninstall and re-install it? Has anyone else had this problem?
